Openness. Open to help, and open to what’s happening in the world
Sylwia Ston came to Clas Ohlson in 2014, starting as a Team Leader Merchandiser at Nacka Forum in Stockholm. Today she works as Assortment Planner.
"From day one in Nacka, I have learned so much from so many different people. People are so helpful and kind at Clas Ohlson. We should always treat our customers and each other like we want to be treated ourselves,” says Sylwia.
In 2018 Sylwia started working in the Lab Store at Sveavägen in Stockholm, first as Team Leader Merchandiser and later as Store Manager.
“I noticed, as the Lab Store was in the same location as the Stockholm office, that there is no difference who you are and where you work – we are all the same. We help each other. No one is working alone, no, we are in this together. Like a soccer team playing against our opposers.”
In 2022, Sylwia applied for the position of Assortment Planner in the Fix and Home categories.“As an assortment planner, I help Product Managers analyze what products we should have in the stores, and how the products are performing. And DIY is really my thing, it has always been. I love painting, building, you name it.”
“I believe it is important to use all of your experiences in your job, while at the same time being very open to what is happening in the society and in the world right now. And I always say this: Study, learn all you can, set a goal. Prepare yourself so that you are ready. You never know what tomorrow can bring.”
